How to Get a Burton Binding Adapter (or Other Mounting Hardware)

All bindings purchased directly from Burton (either from burton.com or a Burton flagship store) or an authorized dealer should include the necessary mounting hardware. Bindings purchased from a reseller may or may not include complete mounting hardware. If you’re missing something, please visit the spare parts page or reach out to the Burton Guides.

Note: Inserts for Burton snowboards featuring The Channel® are packaged with the boards and are not included with binding hardware.

To get started, carefully inspect your gear and determine the specific board/binding combination you are working with. Spoiler: There’s a lot of possible combinations but remember that Burton is the only snowboard brand to use the 3D hole pattern and there are no other brands licensed to utilize that technology.

When is a Burton binding adapter needed?

When determining what mounting hardware or adapter plates may be needed, there are two main scenarios to consider:

1) If you are attempting to mount Burton snowboard bindings to a Burton snowboard and are missing hardware, please visit the spare parts page or contact us to get the necessary base plates or other hardware.

2) If you are attempting to mount Burton snowboard bindings to a non-Burton snowboard, please review the available Burton binding adapter base plates and other components outlined in the included graphic. The Burton Guides process hundreds of emails/calls and it will significantly speed up your request if you at least have a rough idea of what you might need. Once you figure out what you need, please explore the spare parts page or contact us to get the necessary base plates or other hardware.

Note: While unlikely, it is possible that Burton binding adapters may not be available for your unique binding/board combination, but we’ll do our best to get you hooked up.
